About Søagerhusene
About Søagerhusene
Søagerhusene has been designed with today's housing dreams and everyday life in mind. The project comprises 107 homes in various sizes and types, suitable for both small and large stages of life. Whether you are setting up your first home, need more space, or want a simpler everyday life, you will find a setting where quality and balance go hand in hand.
The homes are designed with a focus on functionality, aesthetics, and sustainable solutions. Materials, lighting, and room layouts are carefully coordinated to create timeless homes with high utility value. All homes have access to private outdoor spaces, green common areas, and communities that provide space for both privacy and closeness.
With the renovated gym and the newly built community center as a natural part of everyday life, Søagerhusene is more than just housing—it is a home with room for life.
Community and life between homes
The former gym has been carefully renovated and continues the history of the area. Today, it provides a setting for sports and activities for both residents and the local community.
The new community center, built with recycled materials from the old school, serves as a natural gathering place. It features a common room, kitchen, guest room, and space for creative activities – a place where relationships are formed and communities grow.
The homes are organized into three clusters with green courtyards. Private gardens and balconies open onto communal areas with fruit trees and biodiverse planting, creating life between the homes all year round.
The area – a safe and well-functioning everyday life in Smørum
Smørum is a quiet and family-friendly community with green surroundings and easy access to everyday amenities. Smørum Centret, schools, and daycare facilities are located nearby and are connected by a network of paths.
The area offers excellent leisure and sports facilities as well as nature experiences in the surrounding area. At the same time, Søagerhusene is backed by a well-functioning local community and is well connected to Greater Copenhagen via motorway, bus, and S-train – with Copenhagen less than half an hour away.
