Kronhusene Gadekæret

Nordhusene is pleased to offer homes for rent in attractive Hammelev west of Haderslev in Southern Denmark.

The project is called Gadekæret.

Gadekæret consists of a total of 68 terraced houses ranging in size from 85 m² (3-room), 95 m² (3-room), 105 m² (4-room) and 115 m² (4-room).

The houses were built by Kronhusene, a collaboration between Niam and the recognised construction company Milton Huse.

The homes are built with DGNB sustainability certification, which ensures thoughtful solutions throughout the construction.

The neighbourhood

Hammelev - a life in communities
Hammelev has approximately 956 inhabitants and is located between Vojens and Haderslev with 7 km to both cities. A growing station town located in Southern Denmark with a rich community life and good commuting options. Only 7 km to Haderslev and via the motorway only 25 minutes to Kolding and Aabenraa.

In Haderslev you'll find several grocery stores, kindergartens, primary schools, independent schools and secondary schools. Here you'll find Dyrehaven, a singing choir, art school, sports clubs and many other cultural activities. Just outside the city there is beautiful nature with large forests, castle parks and plenty of opportunities for cycling and hiking.

Good facilities and associations in the area
Hammelev Sogn Youth Association has around 1,200 members across several different sports programmes, including football, athletics, badminton and many more. The community is at the centre and the well-being of members and volunteers is in high focus.

Hammelev also focuses on young people. For youth club members from 6th grade to 18 years, there are opportunities for activities such as music, billiards and skating. Hammelev Forsamlingshus is a perfect gathering place with two halls that can seat 30 and 90 people respectively.

Perfect commuter location
With its location close to the motorway, Hammelev is an exciting and convenient place to live. It's a short distance from Haderslev, which is a good commercial town and can also be reached by bike. Via the motorway, Kolding and Aabenraa are just a short drive away.

There is a nursery and kindergarten within walking and cycling distance, providing a safe route for the little ones. The community school Hammelev Sct. Severin has year groups from 0-6th grade, where 7th-9th grade is located at Ungeuniverset-Vojens, which is located in the eastern part of Vojens and only 6 min. from Hammelev Bygade. In addition, Haderslev Municipality offers school buses with the option of a free bus pass.

We have established a fantastic playground as part of our residential area. This playground is the perfect place for the children in your neighbourhood to play and have fun. It meets all high safety standards and is a cosy playground for the whole community.

The building
The development consists of 68 energy-friendly and modern townhouses in sizes 85, 95, 105 and 115 m² - all on one level, designed in a modern and simple style.

All homes are built on independent plots of land. Each house has its own carport, large utility room, lovely garden, large tiled terrace on both sides of the house and a tiled walkway to the entrance of the home, where there is level access. The garden is surrounded and enclosed by a privet hedge.

The houses are located on an enclosed corner, which means there is limited traffic and children can safely let loose and find playmates in the new development. Dogs can also be walked on the green common areas in the neighbourhood.

The rows of houses have brick facades of modern light beige brick and black pitched roofs with a 25-degree slope. Wooden stern in the colour anthracite and small, white-painted wooden eaves.

The houses are fitted with modern wood/aluminium windows and doors (3-layer windows) in dark colour on the outside and white on the inside. The sills under the windows are in dark slate.
