About Kronhusene Blomsterengen Store Heddinge
Nordhusene is pleased to offer new homes for rent in attractive Store Heddinge south of Køge Bay in eastern Zealand.
The project is called Blomsterengen.
We offer occupancy from the following dates:

Blomsterengen consists of 68 townhouses and 24 apartments in sizes 85 m² (3-room), 95 m² (3-room), 105 m² (4-room) and 115 m² (4-room).
The houses are being built by the newly established Kronhusene, which is a collaboration between Niam and the renowned construction company Milton Huse.
The building is planned with DGNB Gold certification, which ensures a high standard of sustainability in construction.
The area
Store Heddinge - an exciting town with history
Store Heddinge is Stevns' main town with approx. 3,650 inhabitants and is located between Rødvig Stevns in the south and Strøby Egede in the north and 24 km south of Køge. Store Heddinge is a lovely town with an exciting history. Several of the houses are built of limestone from Stevs Klint and the town contains several historical landmarks such as the church, the water tower and the old courthouse. Most of the town is centrally located, so it's easy to walk or cycle to everything.
In Store Heddinge you'll find a cozy town center with a wide selection of shops gathered around the pedestrian street and town square. There are also several grocery stores, kindergartens, a primary school and a youth café for young people from 7th grade to 18 years. There's Snurretoppen, where you can go to the movies, concerts or art exhibitions, a library, swimming pool, sports hall and many other leisure and cultural facilities. The city has several beautiful green areas, such as the new sculpture park, which is ideal for a nice picnic and play with the kids.
History and nature go hand in hand
Just 5 km outside Store Heddinge you'll find Stevns Klint, which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Rising 41 meters above sea level, the cliff is the best place in the world to see the traces of the asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs and more than half of all species on earth 66 million years ago. Dive into history at the Stevns Klint Experience center, enjoy the unique nature on a walk on Trampestien, marvel at the partially collapsed Højerup Old Church, which stands on the edge of the cliff and enjoy the view from Stevns Lighthouse 69 meters above sea level.
If you are interested in history, you can visit the Cold War Museum Stevnsfort. Stevnsfort was an important part of Denmark's and NATO's defense during the Cold War and was manned until the year 2000. A guided tour gives you access to the 1.7 km long corridors and underground rooms carved out of the limestone of Stevns Klint. At Stevns Folklore Museum you can learn about the elves, the Klint King and the local folklore, superstitions and culture. In the area you'll also find Vallø Castle and Gjorslev Castle, Denmark's largest medieval castle.
Good infrastructure makes everyday life easy
Store Heddinge is well connected by public transportation as the town is located right on Østbanen. It only takes 7 minutes by train to Rødvig to the south and 29 minutes to Køge Station to the north. From here you can easily take the S-train to Copenhagen. From Store Heddinge there are also several bus connections to the rest of Stevns. If you'd rather take the car, you can reach both the E20 and E47 highways in 30 minutes, and Rådhuspladsen is an hour away.
A good life for families with children
From the development, it's a short drive to both daycare centers and school. Store Heddinge offers a wide range of nurseries, kindergartens and private childcare options. Store Heddinge School is a primary school with approx. 570 students in 25 classes and 3 special classes. After school, children can meet in the after-school club and teenagers can have fun together in the town's Ungcafé.
In Store Heddinge, there are plenty of opportunities to play sports, both on water and on land. Stevns offers all kinds of sports - there's a sailing club and rowing club, and the coastline offers optimal conditions for a trip in a canoe or kayak. The buildings
The development consists of 92 energy-friendly, modern townhouses and apartments in sizes 85, 95, 105 and 115 m². The townhouses are built on one level and the apartments are built as semi-detached houses with homes on the ground floor and first floor.
Each home comes with a 7 m² utility room. The townhouses all have a carport and an extra parking space on their own plot, while the apartments have shared parking at the homes. Terraced houses and ground floor apartments have a tiled walkway to the entrance of the home, where level access is provided. The first floor apartments are accessed via external steel stairs to the landing and from here have level access to the entrance hall. The townhouses all have a large, tiled terrace and a small garden surrounded by privet hedges. The ground floor apartments also have access to a tiled terrace.
The building is located on an enclosed street where traffic is minimal and outdoor life can be enjoyed in quiet and safe surroundings for both adults and children. Dogs can be walked on the green common areas in the area.
The rows of houses have brick facades in shades of light yellow, brown and gray. The terraced houses have a black hipped roof with a 25-degree pitch and wooden stern in the color anthracite and 42 cm overhang. The apartments have a 1.5 degree one-sided roof pitch with a 14 cm overhang.
The houses are fitted with modern low-energy wood/aluminum windows and doors (3-layer glazing) in dark color on the outside and white on the inside. Both the entrance door and terrace door are extra wide for easy access.

Modern homes with plenty of natural light
All homes are bright and friendly with sound-absorbing wood concrete ceilings and smooth white walls. All rooms have large, openable windows and window sections to ensure plenty of natural light. The floors are light oak plank (laminate) in the kitchen/living room, living room and bedrooms. The hallway/utility room, bathroom and shower are finished with attractive and practical tiled floors in gray. All doors are in a smooth white finish with stainless steel handles and without doorsteps for easy access. The walls are finished to the floor with smooth white skirting boards.

There is a light source in the bathroom and utility room, as well as in the ceiling ventilation. In the kitchen, there are spotlights in the wall cabinets. Externally, there is a light source at both the front door and patio door. There is also a light source in the utility room.
