The area
Skårup - close to both beach and town
Skårup is a small, cozy village with approx. 1,800 inhabitants. The city is located approx. 7 km from the center of Svendborg, and in addition it is only 3 km to the beach at Skårupøre. Skårup is a lovely place to settle down for both families with children, seniors, singles and couples, as the local area offers all everyday necessities, such as school, daycare centers, shopping opportunities and a good infrastructure.
From the development you are quickly on Nyborgvej, which takes you directly to Svendborg, and if you want to leave the car at home, you can take the bus - it stops only 200 meters from the development. Three regional routes between Nyborg, Svendborg and Faaborg ensure good commuting opportunities, and two city bus routes take you to the nearby villages of Øster Åby, Vejstrup, Oure, Lundeborg, Åbyskov and the beach at Skårupøre. From Svendborg there are good train connections around the country, and if you prefer to take the car, it is only 8 km to the Svendborg motorway.
In Svendborg you will find the historic city centre, which offers cobbled streets, old houses and a charming harbour. The city offers a multitude of cafes, local shops and art galleries, and whether you are into the small specialist shops with unique finds or the more common chain stores, you will find good shopping opportunities in Svendborg.
Beautiful location on the Sydfynske Øhav
Skårup is scenically surrounded by beautiful landscapes, green forests, beaches and idyllic islands just off the coast. The South Funen Archipelago consists of as many as 55 islands, islets and islets and is the world's largest flooded Ice Age landscape. From Svendborg, you can island-hop all year round to Skarø, Drejø and Hjortø, all of which offer beautiful nature, rich animal and plant life and child-friendly beaches. If you want to experience the beautiful islands and Svendborg Sound from the water side, there are plenty of opportunities for trips at sea on one of the many old sailing ships or take the veteran ship M/S Helge on a unique sailing trip. The area also offers some of the best waters for kayaking, diving and angling.
If you are more of a landlubber, Sydfyn is the ideal starting point for hiking, cycling and mountain biking in the hilly forests. From Skårup there is also a short distance to three golf clubs – Svendborg Golf Club, Gudme Golf Club and Brændeskovgård Golf. In Skårup Sports Association, which is housed in Skårup Culture and Sports Centre, there is the opportunity to go to all kinds of sports such as badminton, tennis, volleyball, gymnastics, football, table tennis and fitness. Skårup also has both a riding club and a bowling club.
Easy everyday life for the family with children
Skårup offers everything that makes everyday life go smoothly. Less than a kilometer from the property are both the nursery school Brumbassen and the integrated institution Østerdalen Skårup Kindergarten, which includes a nursery and kindergarten. Skårup School, which goes up to and including 9th grade, is less than a kilometer and a half from the settlement, so transport is easily done by bicycle. Everyday shopping can be done in SuperBrugsen, which is only half a kilometer away, and if dinner is easy, there are several pizzerias in the city.
The construction
The development consists of 44 energy-friendly and modern semi-detached houses in the sizes 85, 95, 105 and 115 m² - all on one level and with a simple, modern and timeless look.
All the homes are built on independent plots of land, on which a small garden is also established. Each house has a large utility room, a carport and an extra parking space, large tiled terraces on both sides of the house and a tiled footpath to the house's entrance, where there is level-free access. The plot is surrounded and closed by beech hedges.
The houses are located on a safe and quiet wing on the edge of Skårup, where traffic is minimal, and children can therefore play safely on the road and in the green communal areas in the area.
The semi-detached houses are made with brick facades of modern, grey-brown bricks and black hipped roofs with a 25 degree pitch. The stern is built from wood in the color anthracite, and a smaller overhang is made, also from wood.
The houses are fitted with energy-efficient wooden/aluminium windows and doors with 3-layer glazing, which ensure a tight house and low heat consumption. Window frames and door frames are made in dark color on the outside and white on the inside. Both the entrance door and patio door are extra wide for easy access.
The materials of the houses are carefully selected, so that the houses will appear beautiful, timeless and well maintained for many years to come.
