The area at Nonnedalen
Closed street
Our courtyard houses at Nonnedalen are built on a peaceful street in the “red city” located to the west of Ringsted.
Ringsted
Ringsted is a larger provincial town in Central Zealand with approximately 34,200 inhabitants in Ringsted Municipality. Ringsted is part of Region Zealand.
The city is also crossed by Motorway E20, which separates the central and southern Ringsted from the northern district of Benløse. Ringsted has central railway and motorway connections to Copenhagen, the Great Belt Bridge and several other places on Zealand. Copenhagen is 58 km away, Sorø 16, Næstved 24, Køge 26, Roskilde 32, Holbæk 34 and Korsør 45 km away.
Transport and infrastructure
Ringsted Station is located on the main line, where there are direct train connections to Copenhagen, Odense and the Triangle area as well as Esbjerg and Aalborg for that matter. You can also use Denmark's first high-speed railway from Ringsted via Køge to Copenhagen.
Several buses also depart from the station, both within the city itself and to surrounding areas and towns such as Holbæk and Haslev.
The Vestmotorvejen runs through the northern part of the city between Benløse and Ringsted itself. Both exits 35 and 36 are to Ringsted. The two bypass roads Nordre Ringvej and Østre Ringvej direct heavy traffic around the city center.
Ringsted Flyveplads is an airfield slightly southeast of the city. It is used by the Midtsjællands Motorflyveklub and by aircraft flying under visual flight rules.
Ringsted Hospital is located at the northern end of the city.
Opportunities and attractions
Midtsjællands Gymnasium and Zealand Business College offer youth education such as STX, EUX, HHX and HTX.
Ringsted is home to several sports clubs.
The handball club TMS Ringsted plays their home games in the Handball League in the Ringsted Hall with space for 1,600 spectators. In 2007, it was built together with Ringsted Swimming Pool.
Ringsted Sports Association has over 2,000 members and offers several sports. The athletics department is located at Ringsted Athletics Stadium, which is part of Ringsted Sportscenter.
Football matches are played at Ringsted Stadium, which has space for 5,000 spectators. The men's team currently plays in the Zealand Series, and the club has a broad youth section.
Ringsted Outlet
Denmark's only real outlet city, true to the original outlet concept as it is known from abroad. There are currently 48 brand outlets and 2 restaurants. The stores are run by the individual brand manufacturers, who sell their surplus stock from the current or previous seasons directly to consumers - with savings of up to 70% below the price in normal retail.
The development
The development at Nonnedalen in Ringsted consists of 28 energy-friendly and beautiful courtyard houses - all on a plan of 115 m², designed in a modern and simple line.
Each house has its own driveway with parking space, carport, tool room, grass-sown garden, large tiled terrace with retaining wall and tiled walkway to the entrance.
Facades of red bricks from Wienerberger and a saddle roof with a 25-degree slope laid out with beautiful, red wing tiles, model Gammel Dansk from Monier. Bricked gables and small overhangs.
The houses are fitted with modern wood/aluminum window and door sections from Rationel with 3 layers of glass, white inside and dark gray outside. Slab benches made of slate.
The choice of materials for the houses is well thought out and harmonious, so that the houses will appear beautiful, timeless and well-maintained for many years to come.
