Snærild Bakke

Nordhusene can now offer new homes for rent on a new, enclosed hillside in the scenic western Odder area.

The new hillside is called Snærild Bakke.

We have built a total of 101 energy-friendly homes in two stages, which are heated with heat pumps for low energy consumption.

All the houses are built as terraced houses on independent plots delimited by privet hedges and all have tool sheds and tiled terraces on both sides of the home.

The houses range in size from 85 m² (3-room), 95 m² (3-room), 105 m² (4-room), 115 m² (4-room) and to 125 m² (5-room).

The homes in stage north were ready for occupancy on December 15, 2022 and in stage south on June 1, 2023. The rent starts at DKK 8.975,- excl. consumption for electricity, water and wastewater.
One pet - one indoor cat or one dog - is allowed per household.

Odder for everyone
Odder Municipality has 22,979 inhabitants. Odder town (12,397 inhabitants) and the surrounding area offer a surprising number of opportunities - including good workplaces, active sports clubs, schools, after-school clubs and leisure clubs. There is also a swimming pool, sports hall, library, shopping and grocery stores, fitness - and not least a movie theater.

Odder is a lively town. In short, there's something for everyone - in the suburbs of Aarhus - and as they like to say in Odder you have “The sea in the backyard and Aarhus in the front yard”.

Fast to Aarhus - and the rest of the country
It's easy to travel from Odder to the rest of the country. Local bus services cover all routes in the region, with departures several times an hour. You can easily travel around the rest of East Jutland. Odder is close to Aarhus and with the light rail you can commute directly from Odder to Aarhus Central Station, Aarhus University or Skejby Hospital without changing.

Schools
Odder Municipality has 7 primary schools and 4 private and independent schools. There is something for everyone. When the children get older, it is possible to continue schooling locally in Odder. Odder is home to one of the best high schools in the country. In fact, Odder Gymnasium is so good that it has been named one of the country's best at lifting students several times. Odder Gymnasium is also home to Campus Odder, which offers programs within the business school area.

Sports and leisure
The range of sports and leisure activities is very large and reflects Odder's ability to embrace a wide range. With 120 sports and leisure associations, four sports halls and two swimming pools, you can lead an active life. Whether you or your children want to play soccer or go horseback riding, Odder has it all. The buildings
The development at Snærild Bakke consists of 101 modern, energy-friendly homes as terraced houses. The houses are built in rows with three to seven homes in each row. We are building with DGNB sustainability certification, which ensures well-thought-out solutions throughout the building that will look tip-top for many years.

Stage 1 - Northern development:
Here you can choose between house sizes ranging from 85 m² to 125 m², which are designed as 3-, 4- or 5-bedroom homes, all with a tiled terrace and a spacious utility room with a solid floor.
The facades are made of brick in light and dark gray-brown shades of Strøjer B434 Musk. Black roofing felt with a roof pitch of 6 degrees.

Stage 2 - Southern development:
Here you will also find houses ranging in size from 85 m² to 125 m² as 3-, 4- and 5-bedroom homes, also with a tiled terrace and a good utility room with a solid floor. The facades of this development are made of off-white bricks with brown shades like B545 Mercury and with a roof pitch of 6 degrees.

All homes throughout the development are fitted with modern wood/aluminum windows and doors with 3-layer glass and appear white inside and dark outside. The sills under the windows are in dark slate. Gutters and downspouts are black.

The choice of materials is well thought out and harmonious, so the houses will appear beautiful, timeless and well-maintained for many years to come.
