The local area in Brenderup
Brenderup is a local town on West Funen with 1,417 inhabitants, located 14 km southwest of Bogense, 31 km northwest of Odense and 16 km east of Middelfart. The town belongs to Middelfart Municipality and is located in the region of Southern Denmark.

All everyday necessities
Close to the area is the primary school Anna Trolles Skole with 223 students, which has recently been renovated and has grades from 0-9. Brenderup also has a Realskole which is an independent school with 371 students. The popular Brenderup Folk High School is housed in the old inn located in the town center.

The city offers activities in their Activity Center, which is used by Brenderup Idrætsforening for badminton, football, gymnastics and handball. There are 2 halls in the Activity Center, one of which is equipped with a grandstand. Brenderup Assembly Hall, built in 1894, has 3 halls for 110, 50 and 30 people respectively. The town has several grocery stores and other shops, including Werenberg Bolighus.
