The building is called Pigernes Kvarter.

Pigernes Kvarter consists of a total of 144 semi-detached houses in sizes of 85 m² (3-room), 95 m² (3- and 4-room), 105 m² (4-room) and 115 m² (4-room).

In addition, an activity house has been built that can be used by all tenants in the Pigernes Kvarter. The idea is that you can meet across the walls, be creative in the workshop, have communal meals in the large kitchen, etc. The activity house is extremely modern with wooden slats on the walls, large windows and a sedum roof.

The buildings are expected to receive DGNB Silver certification. DGNB is based on the UN's definition of sustainability. The building is evaluated based on six main areas: Environmental quality, economic quality, social quality, technical quality, process quality and area quality.

All the houses are built as semi-detached houses on independent plots and all have tool sheds, partial gardens and tiled terraces.

The area

A town with life
Give is a station town with approximately 4,600 inhabitants and a positive population growth. The town is a highway junction in Give Parish, where there was once moorland. The town belongs to Vejle Municipality with postcode 7323.

The town has a very active retail and business community with 55 specialty and retail stores located in the town center, where both discovery and hunger can be satisfied. The shops are located side by side in pleasant surroundings.

Give also has a fantastic community life with two sports halls, a stadium, tennis courts and a golf club within walking distance.
A new, unified sports center has just been inaugurated in the spring of 2024. The new, shared sports center includes a new sports hall, motorikcenter, fitness, café and recreational areas.

Good commuting options
Give is centrally located in Jutland, with Billund airport just 15 km southwest, Brande about 15 km northwest, Vejle about 30 km southeast, and with the Midtjyske Motorway just on the outskirts of Give, you can easily drive north, east and south to the major cities.

The forests in Give offer great nature experiences. Highlights include Rørbæk Lake, Gudenåens Udspring, Give Museum Forest and Tinnet Krat, which is a protected nature area with some of the largest remains of Denmark's original forest.
Give is also known as a city of sculpture, with more than 75 sculptures that characterize the townscape. There are several art associations gathered around the library and cultural center.

Many attractions in Give and the surrounding area
Relatively close to Give you will of course find Givskud Zoo, Lalandia Holiday Center, Legoland Billund Resort and the old royal town of Jelling with the two burial mounds and the Jelling Stone. The entire monument in Jelling is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The new exhibition center Kongens Jelling is located by the monument.

Pigernes Kvarter consists of 144 energy-optimized and modern semi-detached houses in sizes 85 m², 95 m², 105 m² and 115 m² - all on one level designed in a modern and simple style.

Each house has a tool shed and a large, tiled terrace on both sides of the house as well as a tiled pathway to the entrance.

Brick facades and gables of modern, gray-brown bricks and a black pitched roof with a 25-degree slope. Anthracite-colored wooden stern and small, white-painted wooden eaves.

The houses are fitted with modern wood/aluminum windows and doors (Auraplus 3-layer windows) in dark color outside and white inside. The sills under the windows are in dark slate.

The choice of materials is well thought out and harmonious, so the houses will appear beautiful, timeless and well-maintained for many years to come.
