Tietgens Ærgrelse

The financier C.F. Tietgen financed the completion of the Marble Church and the surrounding symmestric buildings in the 1800s, which were designed by architects F. Meldahl and Albert Jensen.  
He did not manage to buy the fourth and last corner plot by the church square. The plot has therefore been popularly known as “Tietgens Ærgrelse”. 
Realdania Byg A/S, together with the internationally recognized architect Tony Fretton Architects, has since built this property with exciting lines and beautiful architecture.   

The list of the local area's unique buildings and recreational areas includes many of Copenhagen's famous landmarks.
